Edmon Marukyan: 'I Hope the Response Will Be Proportional and Prompt'

The Armenian Ambassador-at-Large Edmon Marukyan has commented on the latest shelling of peaceful civilians by Azerbaijani armed forces in Artsakh.

“Today, at 12:15 PM, Azerbaijan opened fire on peaceful inhabitants. This is what happens every day, and this is what Azerbaijan offers to the ethnic Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh. The international community is well aware of this 'offer,' and I hope the response will be proportional and prompt,” stated Marukyan.

It is noteworthy that the Azerbaijanis fired at a citizen working in the fields.
