Video: We Shouldn't Give the Impression That Everyone Needs to Hire an Accountant, Says Prime Minister

“It will be difficult for people to fill out their declarations correctly without external assistance. This opens up new business opportunities for accounting firms,” said the Minister of Economy of Armenia, referring to the proposed legislation.

The Prime Minister noted, “Let’s not create the impression that everyone must hire an accountant. The State Revenue Committee will handle most of the work for people; in the end, they should review it and make changes if necessary.”

It is worth noting that starting in 2023, a universal income declaration system for all resident citizens of Armenia is proposed to be implemented over the next three years.
