Globbing, ONEX and Ber-Ber Companies Fined 83 Million Drams

The Competition Protection Commission has imposed penalties for unfair competition affecting public deception on the Global Shipping LLC (Globbing), ONEX LLC, and the group of entities comprising Haypost LLC and Haypost USA Corp. (Ber-Ber service) in relation to their delivery services from abroad to Armenia.

As a result of the proceedings, the Commission found that these entities provided information in their announcements regarding delivery timelines in a manner that could lead to misconceptions and did not give consumers a comprehensive understanding of the actual delivery times. Additionally, they engaged in advertisements contrary to legal stipulations.

As a result, on November 8 of this year, the Commission issued decisions numbered 428-A and 429-A, imposing fines totaling 61,741,125 drams on Global Shipping LLC, 18,311,294 drams on ONEX LLC under decision number 431-A, and 2,880,192 drams on the group comprising Haypost LLC and Haypost USA Corp. under decision number 430-A.
