Wide-scale Attack on Armenian Authorities Using Pegasus Likely Orchestrated from Azerbaijan, Martirosyan

Israeli authorities are indirectly linked to a wide-scale attack against the Armenian government, which is likely being carried out by Azerbaijani officials. This was stated by information security expert Samvel Martirosyan on his Telegram channel.

Continuing the discussion about the Pegasus spyware, he noted, “We have found numerous infections, including among high-ranking officials and their close associates, whose infections could allow for the collection of information that poses a threat to national security. The producer of Pegasus, NSO Group, is an Israeli company controlled by the state authorities. For instance, they are prohibited from selling the virus to Russian authorities. Accordingly, Israeli authorities are indirectly connected to the extensive attack against the Armenian government, which is likely being conducted by Azerbaijani forces or the Turkish authorities of the 'pachahan' state.”
