Court Imprisons One Suspect in Pemzashen Murder Case: Details

The Shirak region's court of general jurisdiction has decided to imprison 32-year-old Vruyr B., one of the suspects in the murder of 31-year-old Zarine M. and her two children aged 8 and 12, in the village of Pemzashen. This information was reported by Sputnik Armenia’s correspondent in Gyumri.

The hearing was conducted behind closed doors. The request concerning the detention of the other suspect, Arkadi Barseghyan, is currently being examined by the same court.

Recall that the bodies of the 31-year-old village resident and her children, aged 12 and 8, were discovered in their home’s bedroom on November 9. The hands of the murdered woman and one of the children's hands and feet were tied. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 155, Part 1 (murder) and Article 155, Part 2, Clause 5 (murder of a minor) of the RA Criminal Code.

The police have arrested two suspects, aged 32 and 36.
