I Think There Will Be More Incidents Ahead, We Must Be Prepared for Everything – Armen Khachatryan
During a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly, member of the "Civil Contract" faction Armen Khachatryan addressed the ongoing provocations by Azerbaijani armed forces.
"There is nothing surprising; as far as we remember, these provocations have occurred, and I think there will be more in the future. We must be prepared for all this," said the MP.
Khachatryan noted that active engineering work continues on the Armenian side, with some sections already completed. He added that fortification in the frontline and providing engineering-technical solutions is not connected to the prospects of border demarcation but is rather aimed at organizing and enhancing our defense capabilities at this moment.
"This means that if there is aggression again, we must be fully prepared; this is being done for that purpose and has no relation to the work of marking borders. Our neighbor is Azerbaijan, and hoping that they won't attack this time is inappropriate; any scenario can become a reality," Khachatryan emphasized.
