“Today we are still on our native land towards the Azerbaijani-Armenian border”: Aliyev's statement
“The results of the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War are opening new opportunities for the region,” said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during the 9th summit of the Turkic States Organization in Samarkand on November 11, continuing to speak about what he describes as the “Zangezur Corridor.”
The autocrat noted that Azerbaijan is carrying out extensive activities related to the corridor within its territory. “The opening of the Zangezur Corridor will be beneficial for all countries in the region,” said Aliyev.
Speaking about the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the autocrat made the following statement: “Today we are still on our native land towards the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.” It is worth noting that after the 44-day war, Azerbaijan invaded and occupied parts of the sovereign state territory of Armenia and has been unresponsive to calls to withdraw from our country and return to its positions.
