Mirzoyan Offers Condolences to Turkish Counterpart
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, has expressed his condolences to Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu following the explosion that occurred in Istanbul.
“I deeply sympathize with the families of the victims of the deadly explosion in Istanbul and wish a speedy recovery to those injured,” he wrote.
It is noteworthy that on November 13, an explosion occurred in central Turkey, resulting in casualties and injuries. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reported six fatalities. Later, Turkey's Vice President Fuat Oktay announced 81 injuries and stated that authorities consider the Istanbul explosion to be a terrorist act perpetrated by a woman. Turkey's Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu confirmed that the suspect has been arrested.
