The Assistant of the Deputy Prime Minister's Company Has Received an Exemption from the Government

During a meeting on November 10, the government decided to grant an exemption from the import customs duty to the company "DRIMI DOMS," which operates in a priority sector. This is reported by the fact-checking platform Fip.

According to the justification of the decision, "DRIMI DOMS" LLC plans to import 23 "domes" tents—tent-type structures aimed at developing new tourism directions in nature—as part of an investment program.

The company has already made an investment of 19 million drams and plans to make a total investment of approximately 80 million drams. The program is expected to be implemented in various regions of Armenia.

"DRIMI DOMS" was established in April 2022. The company is co-owned by Shushanna Kostanyan and Satenik Ghahondyan, each holding a 50% stake. The director of the company is Shushanna Kostanyan's father, Gagik Kostanyan.

Shushanna Kostanyan has been the assistant to Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan since December of last year, previously serving as an expert in the Development, Tourism, and Analysis Department of the Armavir regional administration, led by Matevosyan, from 2020.
