Accident in Syunik, Injured are Iranians
On November 10, at 21:17, the Syunik regional crisis management center received a report that a cargo truck had veered off the trafficable section of the Sisian-Gorayk highway and was located in the field area. Rescue assistance was required.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a firefighting rescue team from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.
It was found that a Volvo cargo truck (driver: F. S. B., born in 1973, citizen of Iran) had left the trafficable area of the Sisian-Yerevan highway at the 39th kilometer, skidded about 15 meters into the field area, and overturned.
Rescuers assisted the driver and passenger J. Y. F. (citizen of Iran) to an ambulance. Both individuals were hospitalized at Sisian Medical Center, where doctors assessed the driver's health condition as moderate and the passenger's health as satisfactory.
