VIDEO: Actor Sean Penn Donates His Oscar to Zelensky

American actor Sean Penn has returned to Kyiv and met with Vladimir Zelensky, during which he left his Oscar statuette as a symbol of faith in the victory of our country, reports Zelensky's Telegram channel. This is not Penn's first visit to Kyiv since the end of February, with reports indicating that he has traveled to Ukraine's capital three times and held two meetings with Zelensky.

“Sean brought his Oscar statuette as a symbol of our country's faith in victory. It will remain in Ukraine until the end of the war,” the message states.

Additionally, it was mentioned that Zelensky handed Penn the Order of Merit of the third degree, thanking him for his support and for promoting Ukraine's visibility in the world.

It was also reported that Sean Penn's name has been immortalized on Kyiv's Avenue of Courage, where a plaque honoring former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was unveiled in August.
