Doubts Remain in the 'Civil Contract' Party: 'Iravunk'
The 'Iravunk' newspaper reports that the ruling 'Civil Contract' party continues to search for culprits regarding the disgraceful incident that occurred during the party's council election. A recount revealed that two individuals were 'removed' from the newly elected council, while the two actually elected were left out.
According to information obtained by 'Iravunk', this issue was also a topic of discussion during a recent closed meeting between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and 'Civil Contract' parliament members. It turns out that party members remain hesitant about whether this was a deliberate act or negligence, and suspicions have not been alleviated.
Moreover, some even suspect that while Pashinyan raises the issue for discussion, he is simultaneously complicit in the removal of Vice Premier Matevos Hambardzumyan and Head of the 'Civil Contract' faction in the National Assembly Hayk Konjoryan from the newly elected council.
