Additional Security Measures to Be Implemented in the National Assembly
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: "The staff of the National Assembly has decided to implement additional security measures to complicate access to the parliamentary territory as much as possible.
Two days ago, the gates of the National Assembly were again welded shut, and yesterday we noticed that barbed wire is being stretched along the walls of the parliament. We learned that electric wires are also being laid along the wall, so it is not ruled out that, similar to concentration camps, electric current will be connected to the barbed wire, potentially electrocuting those who attempt to jump over the fence, resulting in injury or even death beneath the walls of the National Assembly.
One of the workers on site told us that this is not barbed wire but rather a "fence mesh." He was probably trying to downplay the implications of the barbed wire. The staff of the National Assembly confirmed that they are indeed installing barbed wire for 'security reasons.' They did not elaborate on what specific threats they are anticipating."
