Electronic Appointment System to Operate in the Passport and Visa Department
Starting from November 14, the submission of applications for acquiring and renouncing Armenian citizenship, the first-time passport issuance for those who have obtained Armenian citizenship, as well as the preliminary examination of documents for citizenship and provision of consultations, will be conducted through an electronic appointment system.
From November 14 to 18, in parallel with the electronic appointment system, there will also be a procedure to serve individuals with appointment tickets via registration equipment (at a ratio of 50 percent). From November 21, service will be provided exclusively through the electronic appointment system.
Appointments can be made online via the e-request.am platform to book a visit to the Passport and Visa Department. To do this, it is necessary to register on the platform by filling out the relevant fields, logging into the system, clicking the “Book Visit” button, selecting the “Passport and Visa Department” window in the “Appointment” field, indicating the type of operation (either “Submitting an Application for Obtaining or Renouncing Citizenship” or “First Passport Issuance for Individuals Who Have Obtained Armenian Citizenship”), and scheduling a preferred date and time to visit the Citizenship Division of the Passport and Visa Department.
Each applicant must fill out their individual details exclusively for the appointment; applicants registered with the details of others will not be served.
