"We are ready to light the stove together and prepare barbecue," says Lukashenko
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has suggested assisting Europe with firewood for heating, emphasizing that neighboring countries should understand that Belarusians are peaceful people and do not desire war. This information is reported by RIA Novosti.
“Times are difficult. We must help our people outside our country. There, people cannot even buy firewood, while we are here joking and cutting that firewood. We can deliver that firewood to the border,” Lukashenko's words are quoted by Sputnik Belarus on their Telegram channel.
The Belarusian president also noted, “Let the Lithuanians, Latvians, Poles, and Ukrainians know that we are peaceful people; we do not want any war. We are ready to light the stove together and prepare barbecue.”
