Meta Plans to Lay Off Thousands of Employees, WSJ Reports
The American company Meta is planning to lay off several thousand employees in the near future, according to The Wall Street Journal, citing its sources.
An official announcement regarding the mass layoffs is expected to be made on November 9. The newspaper does not specify how many people will be let go, but the company currently employs 87,000 individuals.
This will mark the first mass layoffs in the company's 18-year history.
