Armenians' Spending in Georgia During September Revealed
According to the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), in September 2022, the revenue generated from tourism in Georgia rose by 132.1 percent compared to the same period last year, reports "Aliq Media." The NBG states that this September, the revenue from tourism amounted to $375.6 million.
Based on the data, the highest revenue for Georgia came from Russian citizens, amounting to $95.5 million. Turkey ranked second with $35.8 million, while Ukraine secured third place with $31.5 million.
The contribution from other countries is as follows: EU member countries contributed $44.7 million, Israel $31.5 million, Belarus $21.7 million, Armenia $15.9 million, Iran $15.2 million, Saudi Arabia $11.7 million, and Azerbaijan $10.3 million.
