VIDEO: Protesters Fire at City Hall in Iran's Khash

The participants of the unrest today attacked the city hall in the town of Khash, located in the Sistan and Baluchestan province of southwestern Iran. This information was reported by the Tasnim news agency.

"These people shouted anti-government slogans, then began to throw stones and open fire towards the city hall building... The rioters also set several vehicles on fire," the report stated.

It was noted that the security forces of the municipal administration responded quickly to the attack, resulting in the cessation of the clashes. According to Tasnim, several people sustained injuries.

Unrest has been ongoing in Iran for more than a month, which began following the death of Mahsa Amini in September. The girl died after being detained by the police. Protests and riots have been taking place in Gilan, Khuzestan, Baluchestan, Sistan provinces, as well as in Tehran and Kurdistan.
