Hungary's Deputy Prime Minister Meets with Armenia's Ambassador in Georgia
On November 2, Armenia's Ambassador to Georgia Ashot Smbatyan participated in the reopening and consecration ceremony of the Armenian Catholic Church of Saint Gregory the Illuminator in Budapest. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On November 4, Ambassador Ashot Smbatyan was received by Hungary's Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Semjén Zsolt.
The interlocutors discussed Armenia-Hungary relations as well as issues concerning Armenians living in Hungary. The importance of deepening historical and cultural ties between the Armenian and Hungarian peoples was emphasized.
