Clarification on Alleged State Treason by Employee of Artsakh Permanent Representation in Armenia

The Prosecutor's Office of Artsakh has clarified the alleged case of state treason by A.H., an employee of the Artsakh Permanent Representation in Armenia. On October 31 of this year, a statement released by the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Artsakh received widespread attention in the media and various comments circulated around it; therefore, the Artsakh Permanent Representation in Armenia finds it necessary to provide additional clarification.

The information published by the Prosecutor's Office pertains to a criminal case initiated by the National Security Service of Artsakh regarding the alleged state treason committed by A.H. on May 25, 2022, while working at the Artsakh Permanent Representation in Armenia. The Investigative Committee of Artsakh has also reported on the completion of the preliminary investigation and the submission of the indictment to the prosecutor's office.
