Surik Khachatryan, His Wife, and Sons Summoned to Court

The preliminary court session regarding the illegal seizure of property belonging to former Syunik regional governor Surik Khachatryan, his family members, and other related individuals will take place at the Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia on November 1 at 15:00.

According to the published notification, Surik Khachatryan, his wife Loreta Barseghyan, his sons Tigran and Trdad Khachatryan, his wife’s brother Vardan Barseghyan, and sister Lusine Barseghyan, as well as Manvel Malinancyan, Erik Hambartsumyan, and Norair Mnatsakanyan have been invited to participate in the court session as respondents.

It is noted that according to the Code of Criminal Procedure, the court session may also be held in their absence if they do not appear.

According to earlier information published by the Prosecutor's Office, a total of 19.1 billion AMD in illegally obtained property and assets belonging to Surik Khachatryan and related individuals is subject to confiscation.
