Partial Mobilization in Russia Complete, Says Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that the partial mobilization in Russia has been completed. “Yes, of course, it was done by my decree, because otherwise it cannot be done by law, it was done at the suggestion of the Ministry of Defense, and now the MoD has proposed to end the mobilization activities... I will speak with legal advisors to determine whether it is necessary to officially declare by decree that it is over, but it is finished. The end has been put,” he said.
Earlier, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu reported to Putin on the completion of mobilization across all regions of Russia. The task to call up 300,000 people has been completed; 82,000 have been sent to the area of special operations, while the remaining 218,000 are undergoing training exercises. Shoigu also noted that among the mobilized, there are 1,300 employees of executive authorities.
