Azerbaijani Films Removed from Calgary Festival Program
Two Azerbaijani propaganda films have been removed from the Calgary festival program. This was reported by the Telegram channel Баграмян26.
It is noted that the ticket sales and event searching website Showpass.com initially included two Azerbaijani documentaries, “Shusha (Editorial: Shushi), You Are Free” and “We,” which pertain to the 44-day Artsakh war and the occupation of Shushi. These films were later removed from the program. There are no such films listed in the schedule section of the festival's official website.
According to the channel, the festival leadership agreed that both films are purely military propaganda and do not align with the values of the festival.
