Azerbaijan Accuses Iran of Supporting Armenia

The Turkish state news agency has published an article by Javid Valiyev, an employee of the Azerbaijan Center for International Relations Analysis, titled "Azerbaijan's Regional Relations on the Anniversary of the Karabakh Victory," where the author discusses Turkey-Azerbaijan relations and draws attention to Iran's "aggressive stance" regarding regional developments. This is reported by Ermenihaber.

The author expresses dissatisfaction that during the Karabakh war, anti-Azerbaijani materials were published in the Iranian media, and weapons supply to Armenia was carried out through Iranian territory. It is emphasized that the new Iranian government continues to pursue an anti-Azerbaijani policy and supports Armenia.

"Instead of exerting pressure on the Armenian government, which brings the West to the region, Iran prefers to deepen its cooperation with Armenia, adopting an aggressive policy against the Azerbaijan-Turkey duo. Naturally, this has received a strong response from Azerbaijan. For the first time in 30 years, the Azerbaijani media has openly brought forth the agenda of South Azerbaijan, sending a message to Iran," the article states.
