Former Defense Minister Buys $2 Million Home in the U.S.; Babajanyan Reveals How Sargsyan Transferred Money Out of Armenia
Arman Babajanyan, the president of the "For the Republic" party, wrote on his Facebook page:
“This document confirms that the former Minister of Defense of Armenia, Vigen Sargsyan, who previously held significant positions in Armenia's defense sector and the presidential office, was nominated as a prime ministerial candidate by the Republican Party in 2018, purchased a house for $2,050,000 in Belmont, Massachusetts this past May. Vigen Sargsyan and his wife, Lusine Galajyan, are already residing at their new address: 48 Amherst Road, Belmont, Massachusetts 02478. I will not provide further details here regarding how much, through whom, and how Vigen Sargsyan managed to transfer a substantial amount of money out of Armenia to the U.S.”
