Bolsonaro, Defeated in Elections, Refuses to Interact with Ministers and Goes to Sleep

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, upon learning that his rival had won the presidential elections, has refused to interact with his ministers and decided to go to sleep. This information was conveyed by his aide to government officials who attempted to reach him.

According to sources from the 'Folha di São Paulo' newspaper, during the afternoon, the politician spent time with his eldest son, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, who was coordinating his electoral campaign. He declined to speak on the phone with the ministers or meet with them.

The only communication about the president following the elections came from the head of the country's Electoral Authority, Alexandre de Moraes. He explained that he had called Bolsonaro and that the president was 'extremely polite' during the conversation.

It was previously reported that Lula da Silva won the Brazilian presidential elections, surpassing his rival Jair Bolsonaro by two million votes. The new head of state is an experienced socialist politician who has already led the country for two consecutive terms.
