"Discussions Are Still Ongoing, and No Decision Has Been Made": Grossi on ZNPP

The head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, has deemed the involvement of peacekeepers at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant unlikely. This was reported by Russian media.

At the same time, Grossi announced progress in negotiations regarding the establishment of a security zone around the facility. “Discussions are still ongoing, and no decision has been made,” he stated in an interview with the Italian news agency Nova, adding that he addressed the urgency of the matter during a session of the UN Security Council.
