The "Civil Contract" party held a closed congress today. During the congress, the party is set to elect a new board and members of the oversight committee. A total of 48 and 16 candidates have been nominated respectively.

Earlier, Prime Minister Pashinyan selected the members of the CPP board. Addressing the media present, he stated, "Can't you see what I'm pointing at?"

It is worth noting that the CPP held its previous, fifth congress in June 2019, during which Suren Papikyan was elected as the board president. The congress was originally scheduled for September 18 but was postponed due to border tensions.
