VIDEO: "What Was Understood From Putin's Speech Yesterday" - Vazgen Manukyan Comments
According to the Russian version of the agreement, the issue of Artsakh is not currently being discussed, and it is left for the future. This was stated by former Armenian Prime Minister Vazgen Manukyan during a conversation with journalists before the session of the Armenian-Russian "Lazarev Club" held today.
“From Putin’s speech yesterday, it was understood that the issue of Artsakh is being left for the future, which I agree with,” noted Manukyan, adding that it is foolish to claim that Russia wants a corridor, while Turkey's most desirable piece is Syunik and the corridor.
It should be noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin stated yesterday that Russia has been proposing for years to resolve the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh by handing over five regions, from which people have left and which have been left empty, to Baku, but the Armenian side has chosen its own path, and "this has led to the situation that has arisen to date."
