VIDEO: EU Observers Head to the Border
The EU observers have begun their first patrols in Armenia. Over the next two months, the EU monitoring mission will oversee the situation on the Armenian side of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, with the aim of building trust and facilitating the work of border commissions, as reported by EUSecurityDefence.
Earlier, Josep Borrell, Vice President of the European Commission and High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, announced that the EU will send 40 observers to the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
