The Tripartite Meeting on October 31 in Sochi Will Not Be Pivotal: 'Hraparak'

'Hraparak' newspaper reports: 'The tripartite meeting scheduled for October 31 in Sochi, according to government circles, will not be pivotal; it will be just another meeting. Nikol Pashinyan has announced to his close team that under no circumstances will he sign the Russian version of a 'peace treaty,' even if threatened with a change of power in Armenia. Pashinyan stated that the people are with the government, and he is not afraid of threats from Russia.

Moreover, he mentioned that the treaty, in essence, will not be signed in the near future, as Aliyev is also opposed to the Western version, and it is more because of him that the Western version is being thwarted. The President of Azerbaijan hopes that by maintaining tension, he can achieve the desired corridor, and this is the reason behind the rejection of the proposed plans.'
