13-Year-Old Girl Hospitalized with Gunshot Wound

On October 24, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. Around 3:30 PM, the Talin Hospital reported to the Talin police department that a child had been admitted with a "gunshot wound to the dorsal side of the left hand." The authorities soon identified the victim as 13-year-old Elen A., a resident of the Aragatsotn region.

While doctors were providing assistance to the child, Talin police discovered that earlier that day, around 2:30 PM, the girl had taken an air gun belonging to Rustam Levonian, the commander of the Talin Youth Volunteer Club's Aragats unit, from a table in the classroom of the club located in her village.
