Why Does Everyone Want to Go to Chekhov School? There’s Something to Consider Here, Says Agazaryan

For a long time, I have been concerned about the electronic registration system for first graders attending school. This was stated by the ruling party MP Hovik Agazaryan during a speech at the National Assembly.

“A simple, straightforward question arises: why is it that everyone wants to go to Chekhov School? It raises a common question of why they want to attend that particular school, because, let’s say, the educational level at Bangladesh School is low. That’s bad; we need to ensure that the education level at Bangladesh School is also high. Are we turning education into a lottery? What do we know? The children who have managed to attend Chekhov School could be our talented future, maybe those who remained at Bangladesh could have been the talented ones of tomorrow if we had done everything right. There’s something to consider here,” he said.

Agazaryan noted that he has been conducting research on this matter for two years. “During school vacations, transportation in the city becomes quite easier, haven't you noticed? If I don’t understand the essence of the electronic version, and our relevant partners understand it well, then they should please provide school buses to transport those children across the city so that grandmothers and grandfathers don’t park their cars in the third lane and paralyze the city,” said the MP.
