VIDEO: Russia Has Raised the Corridor Issue, Moscow is Leaning in Favor of Azerbaijan, Says MP

The MP from the "Civil Contract" faction and former Deputy Minister of Defense, Gagik Melkonyan, believes that no good can be expected from the upcoming meeting between Prime Minister Pashinyan and President Aliyev in Russia, and there is still uncertainty about whether the meeting will take place at all.

He also mentioned that if a trilateral meeting were to happen, it could have been held in Astana, but those involved did not wish for that to occur (the MP was referring to the Russian president and Azerbaijan).

This was stated by Melkonyan during a press briefing with journalists on Tuesday, simultaneously accusing Russia of having a biased stance in the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict.

“Aliyev feels at home in Russia, like a fish in water, while Brussels approaches with its head down,” Melkonyan concluded.
