The 'Armenia' Alliance Issues a Statement

The current government of Armenia continues to pursue an anti-Armenian and anti-Artsakh policy in line with the interests of Baku and Ankara. It is no coincidence that individuals who have been criticized by Turkey and Azerbaijan for years and who have had and continue to have approaches centered around the interests of Armenia, Artsakh, and the Armenian people are falling into the crosshairs of these authorities, stated the 'Armenia' Alliance.

A recent example of targeting pro-Armenian figures by Pashinyan and his team is the ban on entry into Armenia for Konstantin Zatulin, the coordinator of the Lazaryan Club, the chairman of the State Duma’s Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration, and Compatriots, and the president of the Institute of CIS Countries. It is noteworthy that the explanation for Mr. Zatulin being declared an undesirable person in Armenia and banned from entry was sent by the head of the Foreign Relations Department of the National Assembly.

This government's action serves both to satisfy the demands of Baku and Ankara, and to disrupt the friendly, allied relations between Armenia and Russia. The 'Armenia' Alliance strongly condemns this latest anti-Armenian step by the current government of Armenia, asserting that under the current political circumstances, the security challenges for Armenia and Artsakh are only increasing,” the statement from the alliance reads.
