Video: Eco Movement Members Strike British King’s ‘Face’ with Chocolate Cakes
Members of the British eco movement Just Stop Oil have struck the face of a wax statue of King Charles III at the famous Madame Tussauds museum with chocolate cakes.
According to the Daily Mail, after throwing the cakes, the activists removed their jackets to reveal shirts emblazoned with the Just Stop Oil slogan. They then attempted to explain the negative impact of fossil fuel extraction on the climate.
It is noteworthy that Just Stop Oil activists have carried out various protest actions in recent weeks. For instance, last week they poured tomato paste over Vincent van Gogh's painting 'Sunflowers', which is displayed at the National Gallery in London.
