U.S. State Department Representative Visits Border Areas of Sotk and Vardenis

The Director of the U.S. State Department's Office of Caucasus and Regional Conflicts, Mark Cameron, has visited the Gegharkunik region, as reported by the U.S. Embassy in Armenia.

"Mark Cameron has been in the communities of Vardenis and Sotk, where he met with the commander of the Armenian Armed Forces' 2nd Army Corps and assessed the situation along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. During his visit, he emphasized the United States' continued support for Armenia's sovereignty and efforts to establish lasting peace in the South Caucasus," the statement noted.
