Resident Pulls Frog from Their Water Pipe: 'Hrach' Report

Resident of the Bazum district of Vanadzor, Anahit Andreasian, reported in the Facebook group "Public Oversight of Veolia Water LLC" that a frog was pulled out from their home water pipe.

In an interview with 'Hrach', the resident recounted that they had been without water in the bathroom for several days, thinking that their neighbor was conducting repair work, which was the reason for the lack of water. "My husband asked the neighbor if the work wasn’t finished yet, and they replied, 'Why should we stop now?" We thought the issue was with our home since there was water in all the other apartments but not in ours. My husband shut off the main water supply, dismantled the pipes, and found a dead, half-rotten frog inside," Anahit explained.

They reported the incident to the water supply company, and an inspector came, looked at the situation, and promised to inform the management. "In our building, there are two water lines, one in the kitchen, and the other in the bathroom. True, we don't drink water from there, but that doesn't matter; we brush our teeth and wash ourselves. We dismantled the entire pipeline and cleaned it with disinfectants," the resident remarked.

According to Anahit Andreasian, similar incidents have happened with other residents as well. She also appealed to the Lori Regional Administration, but they responded that they had no connection to the issue and that she should contact 'Veolia Water'.

The resident stated that for almost this entire month, they have hardly had any normal water.
