The head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office, Andriy Ermak, has stated that no matter how much the Kremlin engages in various forms of blackmail, Ukraine will not agree to negotiations. ‘No one has feared Russia for a long time, as they are weak cowards who dream of negotiations to stop their collapse; the whole world sees this. There will be no negotiations,’ he said.

Ermak emphasized the provocations and killings faced by Ukrainians at the hands of Russia, adding that this 'dirty blackmail seems very primitive.' He mentioned 'dirty manipulations concerning the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, dirty threats related to the Kakhovka hydroelectric station, dirty terrorism in Olenivka against Ukrainian prisoners of war, as well as dirty warfare against the civilian population and terrorism on the battlefield after defeats.'
