Georgia Increases Import Volumes of Oil and Fats from Armenia
The National Statistical Service of Georgia (Geostat) reports that in the first nine months of this year, Georgia imported oils and fats worth a total of $89.6 million, according to Aliq.ge.
Compared to the same period last year, imports have increased by 39.4 percent.
This year, the largest importer of oils in Georgia is Russia, from which imports have reached a historic high of $55.5 million, up by 46.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
Georgia has imported oils and fats from the following countries:
- Russia: $55.5 million
- Turkey: $7.7 million
- Azerbaijan: $7.7 million
- Ukraine: $4.6 million
- Malaysia: $3.8 million
- Poland: $1.95 million
- Indonesia: $1.7 million
- Italy: $1.6 million
- Sweden: $823.7 thousand
- Armenia: $662.9 thousand
