Berlin Will Continue to Support Ukraine, Says Scholz

The Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, has revealed that up to 30 percent of Germans are dissatisfied with Berlin's sanctions policy against Russia and the supply of weapons to the Ukrainian army. According to Armenpress, the Chancellor made this statement in an interview with the German newspaper Die Welt.

“In conversations with citizens, it appears that 20-30 percent disagree with the sanctions and the policy of supplying arms to Ukraine. Among them are voters from almost all political viewpoints,” Scholz stated.

At the same time, the Chancellor of Germany insisted that despite objections from those who disagree with this policy, Berlin will continue to support Ukraine.
