Abdollahian on Meeting with Pashinyan
The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, stated on his Twitter page that strengthening the North-South transit route is a priority for the Iranian government.
“I had an important meeting with Mr. Pashinyan in Armenia. We discussed the security of the border between the South Caucasus, the Republic of Armenia, and the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the non-interference of foreign entities. Strengthening the North-South transit route and developing trade and tourism between the two countries are at the forefront of our attention. This was the purpose behind the opening of the Iranian Consulate General in Kapan,” wrote the Iranian Foreign Minister on his Twitter page.
