Dutch EU Member Syune Abrahamyan Suing the NSS of Armenia

Syune Abrahamyan, a member of the Dutch Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), is suing the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia to demand the removal of her name from the list of undesirable foreign nationals in the country.

It should be noted that on July 31, 2022, Armenian law enforcement authorities denied Syune Abrahamyan entry into Armenia at the "Zvartnots" airport.

"The decision to send her back was made without any justifiable explanation or reasoning," stated a message released by the ARF Bureau.

It was mentioned that the Armenian authorities are "targeting loyal and patriotic Armenian youth from the diaspora." The following day, it became known that Masis Abrahamyan, the father and a prominent member of the ARF, was also denied entry at the airport.

According to Factinfo, Syune Abrahamyan has filed a lawsuit with the Administrative Court against the NSS, demanding that the NSS be obligated to remove her name from the list of undesirable foreign nationals in Armenia. The lawsuit has been assigned to Judge Ruben Makeyan.
