Kherson Authorities Urge Residents to Evacuate Immediately

The appointed deputy governor of Kherson region, Kirill Stremusov, has warned of upcoming battles and urged residents of the city to evacuate immediately. He stated that, according to their information, Ukrainian forces are expected to launch an offensive on Kherson soon, and shelling of the city and areas on the right bank of the Dnipro River is not ruled out.

“Please take my words seriously and evacuate as quickly as possible. As of this morning, the situation on the front line is stable, but the enemy is concentrating its forces and may strike at any moment,” Stremusov said in a video address.

He assured that they would stand firm until the end and defend the city, emphasizing that no one is prepared to retreat. “But we want to save your lives. Please move to the left bank as soon as possible, and then further,” stated the Russian-appointed deputy governor in Kherson.
