Boris Johnson Plans to Run for Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is planning to run for the position again following Liz Truss's resignation, reports The Times.

Previously, the Daily Mail had reported that Johnson is currently relaxing in the Caribbean, but he has all the potential for a surprise return.

In addition to him, it is likely that former Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak, former Home Secretary Suella Braverman, and the Leader of the House of Commons and Lord President of the Council Penny Mordaunt will also be in the running.

It is worth noting that Johnson served as Prime Minister for over three years, from July 24, 2019, to September 6, 2022.

Today, UK Prime Minister Liz Truss announced her resignation, admitting that she could not handle the task at hand.
