VIDEO: Details on the Fire Erupting at the Grand Mosque in Indonesia's Capital

As previously reported, the dome of the Grand Mosque of the Islamic Center in Jakarta collapsed due to a fire, causing significant panic among residents.

The fire broke out while workers were using electric tools to renovate the mosque’s roof. “Because of strong winds, sparks fell on flammable materials, and the fire spread rapidly,” said a mosque representative.

It is still unclear whether there are any casualties from the incident, but the fire has yet to be extinguished. International news sources report that dozens of security personnel are involved in firefighting efforts.
