Putin Reveals Benefits for Mobilized Soldiers

Each mobilized serviceman will receive a monthly benefit of 195,000 rubles after being enrolled in the military unit, stated Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Today, I signed a directive regarding the strict adherence to the deadlines and amounts of payments; they must, I remind you, be at least 195,000 rubles calendar monthly. I want to emphasize that this includes the period of retraining and education of the personnel," said Putin at a meeting of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

Since September 21, partial mobilization has been ongoing in Russia in accordance with the president's decree. Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu noted that this is necessary to control the 1,000-kilometer front line and the liberated territories of Ukraine.

As Putin mentioned, as of October 14, 222,000 Russians have been mobilized, and within about two weeks, meaning by the end of October, all mobilization activities will be completed.
