UK Defense Secretary Rushes to the US
On October 18, UK Defense Secretary Ben Wallace made an urgent trip to the US to discuss Ukraine's security issues, reports the Evening Standard.
It has been noted that he canceled a speech before the House of Commons Defense Committee and quickly flew to the US.
UK Defense Minister James Heappey stated that Wallace will meet with his American counterpart for negotiations that are truly unprecedented, as we are in a period where such discussions are essential.
Reports indicate that he has arrived in Washington. Furthermore, it has been emphasized that the visit was not previously arranged and was organized within a matter of hours.
