Peskov Reveals Details of Truck Explosion Incident on Crimean Bridge

Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary to the President of Russia, has shared details regarding the truck explosion incident on the Crimean Bridge, suggesting that explosive materials could have been delivered by sea from the region of Odesa.

“Essentially, there is information that the explosives could have been brought from Odesa by sea, but all other details are naturally being clarified by our special services, so for now, it is impossible to make any further statements,” he said, responding to a question about whether new conditions could arise to extend the grain deal, given that explosives could have been transported along with grain to the Crimean Bridge.

It is noteworthy that on the morning of October 8, a truck exploded on the Crimean Bridge, leading to the ignition of eight fuel tanks of a train. The bridge's roadway partially collapsed, resulting in the deaths of three individuals. The National Anti-Terrorism Committee indicated that the executor and the mastermind of the act of terrorism are the special services of Ukraine.

The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has determined that the truck, which allegedly carried explosives, traveled from Odesa to Bulgaria, then to Georgia, and then entered Russia through Georgian territory. The explosives were concealed within rolls wrapped in polyethylene sheeting.

On September 27, at 14:53, this vehicle entered the territory of Armenia. The driver of the truck was Arthur Terjanyan, a citizen of Armenia and Georgia.
