Russian Telegram channels report at least one fatality, with several injured, including a child. The fire spread from the first floor to the fifth floor of the building.

The pilot was able to eject and save himself. The cause of the incident was the ignition of one of the engines of the Su-34 during flight, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The accident occurred while taking off for a training flight from the military airfield of the Southern Military District.

The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the aircraft accident in Yeysk. Earlier, it was reported that a military aircraft had crashed into residential buildings in Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai, causing a major fire at the crash site.
